Planning and Capital Programming 

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) works in cooperation with state, regional and local agencies, as well as our customers, to plan, program, and develop a balanced transportation system to connect our customer’s to life’s opportunities.

• MDOT has released the Final FY 2024 – FY 2029 Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP) which lays out the MDOT capital program.
• MDOT has released the 2050 Maryland Transportation Plan, the Department’s long-range plan, called “The Playbook”.
