In Remembrance One Year Later

The memory of the Francis Key Bridge collapse is indelibly etched into our minds and reminds us of the vulnerability and the resilience that defines us. As we reflect upon that tragic day, March 26, 2024, let us pay homage to the lives lost and the heroes who emerged, knowing that we will continue to move forward together embodying the spirit of courage, compassion, and solidarity.

The Maryland Department of Transportation created a documentary that shares never before heard stories from community members, businesses, State leaders and employees. It is a moving, inspirational and a beautiful tribute to those we remember and honor this week. Please click on the "Learn More" button below to view the documentary.

Please join us as we continue to keep our Maryland Transportation Authority family and the families and communities affected in our thoughts and prayers.
