Expansion of Services 

MDOT certified firms that add new products or services may expand existing NAICS codes by requesting an Expansion of Services with the Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE). An MBE Officer will be assigned to investigate the request and perform an on-site visit.

Required Supporting Documents:

• Resume(s) of individual(s) who will be performing the requested service(s).
• List of equipment used to perform the requested service(s), if applicable.
• Copies of contracts, purchase orders or invoices verifying the performance of the requested service(s). If none, provide written documentation of the ability or resources to perform the requested service.

To submit an Expansion of Services request applicants must first click:

• Apply for Certification/Submit Certification Management/Submit a Change
• Log into your account
• Select Expansion of Service
