WHAT:
The Maryland Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Maryland Historical Trust, will hold an unveiling ceremony for a roadside historical marker to commemorate Frederick Douglass’ birth in Talbot County, self-liberation from slavery, and work as an abolitionist, orator and human rights advocate.
