**MEDIA ADVISORY**

WHAT:          The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Office of Real Estate and Economic Development and the MDOT Maryland Transit Administration will host a community informational update meeting Tuesday, March 30, 2021, regarding a proposal for transit-oriented development (TOD) on approximately 22.6 acres of state-owned property at the Reisterstown Plaza Metro Station in Baltimore. MDOT is planning to engage the developer community in spring 2021 to seek interest in working with the state and City of Baltimore to develop a mixed-use TOD at the site, utilizing surface parking areas and unimproved land. The March 30 meeting is a follow-up to a community meeting held July 2019, and will provide an update and invite community feedback. In consideration of ongoing COVID-19 precautions, the meeting will be held virtually. 

WHEN:          7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2021
