Steps to Managing Your Certification 

MDOT certified firms must provide, every year on the anniversary of the date of your firm's original certification, the Annual Declaration of Eligibility and supporting documents. This form affirms that there have been no changes in the firm's circumstances affecting its ability to meet size, disadvantaged status, ownership, or control requirements.

All firms certified as MBE and/or SBE should also complete and submit the No Change Affidavit.

For firms domiciled in Maryland and /or MBE certified, Proof of Good Standing should be included as part of your supporting document.

Sixty (60) days prior to a firm's certification anniversary date, a firm will receive a notification from [email protected] containing instructions for submitting their Continuation of Certification documents.
