Small Business Reserve (SBR) Certification 

The Office of Minority Business Enterprise is pleased to inform certified firms of an exciting opportunity to expand certification through the Maryland Small Business Reserve (SBR) program. Now is an excellent time for Maryland’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) firms to join the Small Business Reserve (SBR) Certification Program. This program allows small businesses to compete for prime contracts with various state agencies. Over 20% of all open solicitations are designated to the SBR Program. Discover the numerous benefits of the SBR Program, including:

1. Same-day certification for qualified vendors registered in eMaryland Marketplace Advantage
2. Access to nearly $500 million in state-funded opportunities
3. Direct payments from the state as a prime contractor
