MDOT in Motion and Newsletters

The Office of Active Transportation and Micromobility (OATM) was founded in 2023, reflecting MDOT's increasing focus on safety for all roadway users. This office focuses on innovating policies and programs for people walking, biking, or rolling. MDOT in Motion is a series of webinars, updates, and educational opportunities offered by OATM.

This collection raises awareness about multimodal programs that improve transportation access across Maryland. We want to get more Marylanders moving—connecting people to jobs, schools, services, and each other—through a complete transportation network that expands options for transit, biking, walking, rolling, and driving. We hope the archive below can help you learn about what builds a sustainable transportation network and expands your knowledge about Complete Streets and safety principles.
